Museum of the Friends of Thann

One of the oldest buildings in Thann, standing on the banks of the Thur.

Le Musée des Amis de Thann is set in a former corn exchange dating back to 1519. Its various collections, installed over 3 floors, retrace the city's past, local traditions, battle feats of the last wars and especially the worship of Saint-Thiébaut. The ground floor is reserved for the panels from the Bangards' (vine guards) hut, while the Walch room, on the same level, hosts art exhibitions each year.
