Remembrance Museum in Uffholtz

Heritage centre recounting and remembering the battles of the World War.

Reflecting the village's history, the Abri-Mémoire was set up in the oldest house in Uffholtz that was transformed into a health shelter by the Germans who occupied the village during the First World War. This heritage centre is intended as a link between past conflicts and our present lives and promotes the need for remembrance and peace. As a cultural centre, the Abri-Mémoire offers different learning spaces, a temporary exhibition space in the war shelter part, a documentation centre, a projection space and an artist's workshop, as well as a varied programme: original and fun exhibitions, conferences, discussions, concerts, storytelling, and film projections. The "Stammtisch" café is also a great place for getting together with your companions.
